A Solid Foundation for Investing
Bedrock Investments Group (BIG) was originally formed in 2011 when we recognized a unique opportunity for investors to acquire selected undervalued single tenant net leased (STNL) properties. These properties would not have qualified for acquisition by REITs or other institutional-type investment funds. However, we discovered the intrinsic value in these investments and they continue to be the foundation of our business.

Gone from our arms, but not our Hearts
Our friend, business partner, and fellow Burnhamite, Jack A. Naliboff, 59, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2015. As a young man, Jack was passionate about water sports. He surfed, sailed and water-skied in college at the competitive level and worked as a waterski instructor at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center. Jack’s career in Property Management spanned over 30 years, starting with The Hahn Company before moving to John Burnham & Company, where he was a Senior Vice President. In 1995, he started his own firm, StepStone Real Estate Services, which was sold to Kidder Mathews in 2015. Jack joined the Bedrock Team this year and was a catalyst in the reorganization and implementation of the asset management systems. He was a highly respected member of the San Diego commercial real estate community. Jack was a kind and caring man who mentored many up and coming young professionals in not only property management, but other aspects of business throughout his career. He was an acknowledged expert in distressed shopping center turnaround strategy and was known for his success in repositioning properties for improved value. The Bedrock Team will miss Jack more than words can express. May he rest in peace.
